The Guardian Cat
There is a cat,
Who waits at the same spot,
Every evening,
As if waiting for it's master.
I always wonder,
At the proverb of loyal dogs,
Does the same hold true,
For cats too?
Could a cat wait,
Until the end of it's nine lives,
For someone to come back?
Braving rain or shine.
Should I feed it?
Should I pet it?
That cat deserves the highest praise,
For proving the proverb wrong.
