The Wrong Invasion

Is a success.
All those resources,
All those funds,
All those lives,
Wasted on the wrong target.
Look at the destroyed country,
The fleeing civilians,
The mass graves,
The local militia,
The brutal warlords,
All because of a navigation mistake.
Imagine the mess,
The diplomats have to deal with,
When they have prepared an excuse,
But have to throw it out the window,
And their embarrassment,
When saying the wrong country's name,
In the declaration of war.
