This is a story,

Of a boy and girl,

What's special is,

The girl's a time traveler.

They were so in love,

But they have little chances,

To ever meet,

Because their timeline diverges.

She gave him a device,

Only to be used in emergencies,

Which can summon her,

No matter which timeline she's in.

The young man went to a church,

Carved his proposal to her on the ceiling,

Used the device,

And waited.

The time traveling woman arrived,

To find the place in ruins,

With his skeleton pointing up,

Tears overwhelm her,

As she read the proposal,

She was at the right place,

A century too late.
