The Value of Secrets

Secrets,
Everybody has them,
Some shocking,
Some shameful,
Some painful,
Some repulsive,
Every last bit not a laughing matter.

If you are keeping a secret,
Never tell them,
Unless the other person is part of,
The solution,
Or the problem.

Please oh please,
Be very picky with,
Who to tell your skeletons,
Tell the wrong person,
Your skeleton might as well be a Youtube video.

I hold multiple secrets,
I had to admit,
Once or twice my tongue slipped,
But rest assured,
My commanding officer made sure,
My punishment is swift and sure.

Sometimes it's good to forget,
Things you have no right to know anyway.
