That Damn Quest

I was given a quest,
To do what I must,
At that damn place,
Before the damn time runs out.

I made preparations,
I found the relevant people,
I bought the damn tools,
I got the damn map,
I trained myself like mad.

And so I went,
Investing time, energy and money,
On a single damn quest,
Never certain of success,
Yet never losing hope.

And that damn quest is:
To get married,
At a majestic castle,
Before I'm damned for eternity.
