A Dream Full of Forever

This is a poem inspired by Mouthful of Forever by Clementine von Radics. The original work can be found here: http://apoemaday.tumblr.com/post/80187382076/mouthful-of-forever

I once had a dream.
We were both in it.
We were happy with each other.
As a married couple.
We have each other's back.
One team against the world.
Forever.

I once had a dream.
We were both in it.
We were happy with each other.
As friends.
We talk, yet too afraid to connect.
Two cowards waiting for a miracle.
Forever.

I once had a dream.
We were both in it.
We were angry with each other.
As bitter enemies.
We hate each other too much.
Way worse than Pride and Prejudice.
Forever.

I once had a dream.
We were both in it.
We were sad with each other.
As star-crossed lovers.
We tried too hard, too long.
We were never honest.
Forever.

I once had a dream.
I alone was in it.
I was angry with everything.
Consumed by negativity,
I proceed to tear everything apart.
I never stop destroying.
Forever.

I once had a dream.
You alone was in it.
You were watching.
You know and nod.
The pain is so raw,
It repulses.
Forever.

I once had a dream.
In it you are happy.
No regrets.
No tears.
No fears.
Oh, how I wish I can keep it that way.
Forever.
